Pizza Express

My friends who knows me well would know that I am actually more of a fan of western and Korean food. So for this post, I am gonna blog about another favorite western restaurant of mine in Hong Kong - PizzaExpress. To start with, Pizza Express is pretty well known in Hong Kong for its pizza (of course) and their many outlets located in the prime areas in Hong Kong.

Here's a collage of some of the foods I've tried in Pizza Express. When you come to Pizza Express, you just have to try their doughballs.

The doughballs are best eaten when it is served hot and fresh out of the oven. Its slightly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, best when eaten with the Genovese herbs sauce (the green one). I never got bored of this dish and I order it EVERYTIME I visit Pizza Express. Since its named Pizza Express, how could we leave without ordering pizza?!

We ordered the Margherita Prima Pizza (if I'm not mistaken). The crust was really crispy, the tomato sauce and cheese tasted just nice, not too sour, the baking time was just nice.

For salad lovers like me, you simply cant missed out on the grand chicken caesar salad here. The presentation is really nice and I particular love the bread. The chicken may be abit too rough but I guess the freshness of the vegetables made up for it. Overall, its good.

They also served pretty decent pastas here, I particularly like their gnocchi. The texture is good and its very chewy. However, their desserts aren't as amazing as their main dishes here. I don't recommend you to actually try their desserts here. And as a bonus, eating with an amazing view just makes your food taste extra delicious. They actually have an outlet at Harbour City Mall, TST where you can enjoy your food and the harbour view at the same time.

Well, do make a reservation beforehand though especially if you want the table near the harbour. Or else, be prepared to queue up for at least 2 hours? Oh, and the price, hmm, its a bit pricy but to me I think its worth it. Also, PizzaExpress serves affordable and price worthy lunch set too! The lunch set includes a starter, main course and a drink. If I did not remember wrongly, it only costs about 72hkd-100hkd for the set, which is really worth it!

More photos: Please look it up online. I actually don't have much foodie photo left eversince I changed my phone and I am stupid enough to actually not back it up. :(

 Overall Rating: 7/10
Ambience: 9/10
